- Eliminate soft contaminants that clog servo valves and reduce turbine responsiveness.
- Control Moisture & Maintain Dielectric Strength
- Vacuum dehydration removes free, emulsified, and dissolved water to extend oil
- Clean, dry oil leads to fewer shutdowns, fewer alarms, and longer maintenance intervals.
- Reduce Downtime, Improve Reliability
- Lower Operating Costs
- Extend oil life by 3–5x and cut filtration and fluid replacement expenses.
What Makes Electrostatic Cleaning Better?
Unlike traditional filters that only capture particles above 5–10 microns, electrostatic filtration removes submicron particles, oxidized compounds, and varnish precursors—without affecting oil additives. It’s the only method capable of effectively handling soft contaminants that cause sticky valve issues, overheating, and system sluggishness.
Challenges
The main challenges included:
- Contaminated Oil: The hydraulic oil was contaminated with particles and moisture, resulting in poor lubrication and increased wear on components.
- Frequent Downtime: The machine required regular maintenance and repairs, leading to unplanned downtime and decreased productivity.
- Rising Operational Costs: The costs associated with oil replacement and machine repairs were becoming unsustainable.
Why Add Vacuum Dehydration?
Water is one of the most damaging contaminants in oil systems. The integrated dehydration unit eliminates all forms of water to:
- Prevent rust and corrosion
- Prevent oil emulsification
- Reduce foaming and oxidation rates
Common Use Cases
- Varnish Removal in Turbine Oil Systems
- Sludge & Particle Control in Hydraulic Systems
- Preventive Maintenance for Critical Equipment
